Anemone and Crocosmia

Anemone and Crocosmia is a still life with a cream jug, blue and white teapot and teacup upon a rich emerald, green cloth. It has a vibrant colour palette with deep blues, emerald greens with delicate burnt orange and dusky pinks of the flowers. The jug has a beautiful golden glow and is filled with delicate anemones and crocosmia from a late summer garden.

Anemone and Crocosmia includes some of my favourite vintage finds particularly this blue and white teapot which makes a fabulous cup of tea! My garden path is always lined with anemones and crocosmia and the combination of the colours always inspires. I love the delicate stems of the anemones which seem to dance in the breeze.

This painting is oil with a cold wax finish on board. Unframed it measures 50cm x 60cm and it is framed in a off white wooden framed 7cm wide the finished size with frame is 64cm x 74cm.
