‘Lemons are the only fruit’ is a deliciously zesty painting with lots of zing. The painting is underpainted in burnt sienna and this gives the lemons a wonderful glow. I love painting lemons and always have few in the studio to place into a still life!
15cm x 15cm oil on board. This original painting is framed in a beautiful nearly black wooden St Ives Frame (as shown in main picture) and it fitted with D rings and cord so it is ready to hang. This is an original painting on a 6mm deep board, and it is signed and titled on the back.
