This painting was a joy to paint the colour palette is so joyful. The use of pattern and shape give this painting a highly decorative and tapestry effect.
I drew my inspiration from the work of Matisse and the Bloomsbury Group and the way they used pattern to link the composition.
This painting is oil with a cold wax finish on board. Unframed it measures 50cm x 60cm and it is framed in a off white wooden frame 7cm wide the finished size with frame is 64cm x 74cm.
